Three seed beads rounds, all ready to be used in various ways. The rainbow round never leaves my workbox. It is my teaching example and shows the layer progression and pickup points very well. It also has a 4 bead point, at the bottom in this picture, to remind me to do that little bit of finishing if I want to make earrings. They hang a lot better if you mount the round off a 4 point, but the 4 point obviously does not look good on its own.
I think the purple and silver rounds reminds me, from a distance, of pansies. Maybe I should work up a lightly cream colored yellow second row version...
Those are beautiful~! <3's~ I love them. <3's~ ^.^ Were they very hard to make? I've beaded necklaces and worked with a bead loom before, but I've never made anything like this.

They aren't very hard to make at all. The only tricky thing is the tension. It is easy to have them too tight, in which case they get all wavy, or too loose and they flop. Since it is made in concentric rings from the inside out, it is possible to knot off each layer as it is made to force more equal tension. I don't, but I have good hands for tension from learning to knit at a very young age.
If you or someone you know is good at lifting the pattern out of a picture, the rainbow colored round is my cheat. I keep it around to remind me what happens. You start with 8 beads, tie them in a circle and then start the next row by going through 1 starter bead, adding the next layer's number of beads (3 I think, I am not looking right now), skipping over the second starter bead, going through the third starter bead, repeat. See it? You weave down into the previous row to build the next row.
