A friend was really starting to ENJOY being a girl. But she was a little shy about the whole jewelry thing and not sure what was professional enough to wear to work, but pretty enough to make her inner girl happy. She also didn't want to spend money on something she wouldn't use.
She also wears warm milky strong pastels. I happened to have a lot of mixed glass beads in those colors from a kit I bought for the container. So I made a variety of lengths and styles, from hand knotting some fresh water pearls to the more complicated pink thing. Every girl should have a single set of pearls. It is understated and practically invisible while still adding a delicate touch. It is also short, just long enough to hopefully skim the collarbones. The green is junkier and bottom heavy so she can feel if she likes necklaces that rest along the top of the cleavage. The blue is complex but smooth and a medium short length that is relaxed. And the pink is playful and bold, and also the longest so it can slip into cleavage.
Then I got too bashful to offer them. If you are reading this and think I made these for you - you are probably right! Umm want them?
Chain store 'art' glass, fresh water pearls, shell heishe on waxed white cotton cord, all cords finished press ends and silver colored plain lobster or ring clasps. As you can see, the blue necklace still needs to be sealed and clipped.
